2. Data We Collect

• Account data: email address, authentication identifiers, login provider, and account metadata.
• Profile data: display name, avatar, training level, goals, session preferences, and relationship settings.
• Workout and activity data: templates, exercises, workout history, sets, timers, reminders, summaries, streaks, and generated workout memory.
• Body and progress data: weight, body-fat percentage, lean mass, body measurements, recorded dates, and related insights.
• Notification and device data: push token, platform, notification preferences, and device metadata.
• Uploaded media: profile photos and exercise setup photos uploaded by the user.
• Support and operations data: logs, crash data, and operational diagnostics needed to maintain the service.
• Optional AI feature data: prompts and workout context used to generate optional AI-assisted responses.

3. How We Use Data

• Create and maintain user accounts.
• Personalize the training experience.
• Store workouts and progress history.
• Send reminders, rest alerts, and app notifications.
• Support trainer and partner features.
• Display progress, insights, and rankings.
• Improve product reliability and diagnose failures.
• Generate optional AI-assisted workout suggestions.

4. Legal Bases and Consent

Where required by applicable law, Maker Gym processes data based on service performance, legitimate interests, user consent for optional permissions or features, and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Permissions and Device Access

• Photo library access, to let the user choose profile photos and exercise setup images.
• Notifications, to send workout reminders, rest-timer alerts, partnership alerts, and app updates.

Maker Gym does not require microphone recording for normal use, and camera access is not required for the current mobile flow.

6. Sharing and Processors

Maker Gym does not sell personal data.

Data may be processed by service providers needed to operate the app, such as Supabase, Expo services, Sentry or similar tooling, and AI inference providers or self-hosted AI infrastructure when optional AI features are used.

7. Storage and Retention

Maker Gym stores account and app data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements.

If a user deletes the account, Maker Gym will attempt to remove account data, profile data, uploaded media, and associated training data from active systems, subject to legal or operational retention requirements.

8. Security

Maker Gym uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data, including authenticated access controls, managed backend infrastructure, and restricted administrative access.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

9. Account Deletion and User Rights

Users can request deletion directly inside the app through the account settings flow.

10. Children

Maker Gym is not intended for children under the minimum age permitted by applicable law without authorization from a parent or legal guardian.

11. International Processing

Data may be processed in countries other than the user's own, depending on where Maker Gym and its service providers operate infrastructure.

Maker Gym may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material updates should be reflected by updating the last-updated date on this page.
